We have two Children's Houses which welcome pupils from 3-6 years of age. Children are guided by trained Montessori teachers who follow the child's interests and encourage whole-child learning by harnessing all of the child's senses. Children follow their own rhythm while building solid academic, social and bilingual skills.
The full-range of Montessori material provided in these classrooms includes:
In addition to focusing on listening skills, observational skills and reading skills, children are invited to tap into all of their five senses when

Children begin their individual work cycle as soon as they arrive at school.
The teacher will carry out presentations to individual children based on their interests or to small groups of 2 or 3 children demonstrating how to use the many Montessori materials that are made available in the classroom. The curriculum focuses on the 5 core areas: practical life, sensorial, numeracy, language and literacy as well as geography and knowledge of the world. There are also plenty of creative activities available including painting which is available to our pupils at any time during the day.
The teacher is there to observe, help where needed and provide support to every child in their learning. |
At the end of the morning, children are reminded to go the toilet and wash their hands before circle time begins.
Circle time is a joyous time for all the children to come together as
one, to share, to listen to each other and to sing together and to present to others in the group. This special moment together is led by a teacher and focuses on different themes
